Hi, We voted at the Autauga County Heritage Book Committee meeting today to extend the deadline for submissions and orders to August 31st. This will be the FINAL DEADLINE. We still have a long ways to go to reach 300 stories so please keep sending. Remember this is a great way to get your family story published nationwide for FREE. You are not required to order a book to get your story published. You can submit up to 1000 words on families here by 1890 and 500 words on families here after 1890, all FREE. You can also include a photo FREE. The only cost is 15 cents per word over the limit. All articles MUST be in narative (paragraph) form. We cannot use group sheets, pedigree charts, etc. A brochure with all requirements and a sample article is available. E-mail me with your snail mail address if you would like one. We also need stories on county churches, communities, history, schools, businesses and organizations. You can submit up to 250 words and/or a photo FREE. Don't let your family be left out! John K.
