Hi Brandon I have a J. T. Roper b. 3-30-1810 d. 6-1887 buried at Isabella Methodist Cemetery, Chilton County, Alabama. On his tombstone is the notation "Ordained to the ministry 1839". Next to him is Elizabeth C. Roper b. 4-11-1814 d. 4-18-1890. On her tombstone is the notation "Relict of Rev. J. T. Roper. Buried near them is Infant Roper 7-7-1924, with a notation "Baby Girl". also Thomas W. Roper b. 11-20-1877 d. 4-16-1895. Notation "Son of B. E. & Sarah J.". The later is possibly related to John and Elizabeth. The C in Elizabeth's name could stand for Caroline. Maybe this will help. All is recorded in Cemeteries of Chilton, page 309.
