The Garner Family moved to Blount Co, AL in 1881 from Monroe Co, GA. William Morgan Garner CSA died in 1881 at Morris, AL. The Garners had some Parker friends in Monroe Co. Maybe a connection. After WM Garners death two Garners moved to Jemison. Another Garner moved to Montevallo. The Parkers lived near some of the Garners. Lula Garner is my relative so I will check my notes for the Parker information. Thanks for your information. My Elijah Garner, brother of Lula, later married Jaunita Barnes in TN so there were connections in TN. It seems GA, TN, and AL contained clusters of these families who kept in touch and visited. BW
