Your info is some that has been passed around erroneously....that is, the part about Singleton's marriages. There was an older Singleton POSEY who married Martha Margaret COOPER....if you'll notice the birth year of 1831 and the marriage year of 1837, you'll see what I mean about an error. I can't remember exactly, but I believe the younger Singleton was his nephew, and he's the one who married Martha MORRIS. Both of these Singleton's can be found in censuses....probably for 1850, but I don't have the info in front of me at the moment. Have you joined the Autauga Co email list (for Chilton Co also)?
