    3. Hi. You will need to search the deed books for Bibb and Chilton County if it's not found in Bibb. You'll be looking for his name on the grantor index. Keep in mind that a deed may not be recorded for many years after the sale. You'll need to search for wills and estates also as the land may not have been deeded if transfered in such manner. I don't have info on Bibb but for Chilton the Circuit Clerk should have estate records including wills and the Probate Judges office should have land records.
