To the List: In 1858 my husband's g-g-grandfather received a patent for land in Bibb Co. in a part that is now Chilton Co. Does anyone know if we can trace this land to find out whether it was sold or willed and to whom? Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated. We live in Ohio and would like to be able to find info. by e-mail or snail mail or phone if anyone knows what office we should contact. Thanks. Merilyn
