I plan to be in Alabama during the summer and would like to research some of my relatives who lived in Chilton, Elmore, and Coosa Counties in the early and middle 1800's. Where should I start my research, the court house or is there a library with a genealogy section that might have more information? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mary
