My great great grandmother was "Ella" Hicks. She married Thomas Faulkner in Chilton County July 15, 1885. They married in the WilliamCrawford Dickinson home by a JP named Mims. They came to Texas sometime in the early 1900s. Ella died in 1914 and is buried in the Eureka, Navarro Co. cemetery. Her death record shows she died of tuberculosis. It states she is a widow. It also gives the information that her father was "Mr. Hicks" (Now that was not a big help) I would like to find out about who her family was. I have a picture of her at the bottom of this page. http://www.flash.net/~barker/thomas.htm I would also like to know if anyone can look up the death index in Chilton Co. for Thomas "Tom" Gillespie Faulkner. He seems to have disapeared. We have him giving his daughter, Buleah, a bible in Navarro Co., Tx in 1912, but Ella is a widow by 1914., but there is no death record of him in Texas. So if someone could look up from 1912-1914 for his name it would help us in Texas a lot. The rest of the family is buried in a family plot outside of Billingsley...see at http://www.flash.net/~barker/cemetery.htm and in the Billingsley cemetery behind the Patillo home.
