I'm from several families in Autauga, which means I probably have connections to everyone!! I go to Peter COOPER and Samantha MONCRIEF, dau of Isaac MONCRIEF and Nancy KICKER. Peter and Samantha's son Alphonzo COOPER married Mary Elizabeth BARBER, dau of Green B. BARBER and Sally GOODGAME. Green's parents were Moses BARBER and Mary WESLEY. Alphonzo COOPER's dau Emma Louisa (named for two of her Moncrief aunts) married Newbern Webster ROCKETT. N. W.'s mother was a MORRIS, and her aunt Martha married Singleton POSEY (the "younger") and Peter COOPER's dau Martha Margaret married Singleton POSEY (the "elder"). Except for the MORRISES and the ROCKETTs, who heavily populated nearby Jefferson Co, AL, all of the above surnames were in Autauga county during the 1800's. One of Samantha Moncrief's sisters married a DENNIS and another married a GRAY. I'm looking for the parents of Peter COOPER, Isaac MONCRIEF, Moses BARBER, and Mary WESLEY.
