Hello everyone. Due to several request's recently I've finally gotten around to creating a web page for links to Chilton related families. I know of several that are not included yet. If you have a family web page that you would like to see included please send the the URL even if you've sent one before. The 1880 census is going well with Beat 3 being transcribed by Christine Bonoyer and about the first half of Beat 4 being proofed by Jim and Donna Nix while I'm working on transcribing the last half. Beat 7 still needs someone to transcribe it, volunters welcomed. I will be starting on Beat 5 which is twice as large as any of the others as soon as I can get to Georgia to pick up a microfilm reader I bought. It is too difficult to read to transcribe from print copies. If anyone has something they would like to see posted on the internet of historical or genealogical interest please email me.
