Carol There is a cemetery book of Chilton Co and surrounding counties cemeteries close by, in the Sylacauga library. It is called the B B Comer Memorial Library. I only have a few pages from the book, as I only copies several cemeteries, but they are oneds that are very close to Chestnut Creek, including Chestnut Creek Baptist Church in Coopers, AL. MY wife is related to the Wyatt family that Dorenda Wyatt is from. She married John Dupree. Buried in chestnutt Creek Baptist Church Cemetery is a Curtis Dupree, b. 26 May 1800 and d. 21 Mar 1868, and a Sarah W Dupree buried next to him, b. 7 Nov 1803 and d. 2 Jul 1888. I don't know if they are related, but one would guess. There is a MJ Dupree, b. 28 Aug 1878 and d. 27 Apr 1920 listed as wife of JL Dupree and mother of Hugh, Magdelaine, and JL Duipree, Jr. Nex to her is JL Dupree, b. 28 Mar 1872 and d. 6 Jan 1939. Also buried close is an infant of MJ & JL Dupree. Other Duprees buried in Chestnutt Creek Church are: Martha Harris Dupree, b. 19 Mar 1885, d. 15 Mar 1947 Mary M Dupree Justin A Dupree, b. 12 Apr 1912, d. 30 Dec 1978 Ora Mae Dupree, b. 15 Dec 1915 and d. 9 Aug 1975 I am sure that you can get a hard copy of the entirre Cemetery from the library in Sylacauga.
