Several of the larger cities directories have some listings for each county in some years. I'm not sure they may have paid for them. I know the 1910 Young and Cos. listed 4 blacksmiths in Chilton. I don't remember seeing them for other years but I am going to the Birmingham library in the morning and can check. I don't know of any directories extant for Chilton that are anywhere near that old. What name are you looking for? If you don't catch me before I leave in the morning I'm afraid it will be a while as I'm very busy at work this summer. D.
