Lillie Belle's name has appeared quite prominently in my research over this past summer, as I've been looking into the roots of my Culver line, and her mother Lizzie was a Culver. What's more, her father Jacob Arant was the son of my GGG-Aunt Joanna Wingard, so Lillie and I would be some sort of "double cousins" (if that's a valid term). You too appear in my file as a 4th cousin. I'm sorry that I never had occasion to meet her, as she sounds like a fine lady that anyone would've been proud to know. In this season of Thanksgiving, we can all be thankful for the positive impact of people like Lillie on our lives and hope that it will ease the burden somewhat. = Steve = -- Steve W.
