    3. The Alabama Genealogical Society is pleased to announce that Mr. Curt Witcher will be the speaker at the society's annual Spring Seminar. Mr. Witcher is manager of the Historical Genealogy Department of the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He is also president of the National Genealogical Society and past president of the Federation for Genealogical Societies. The AGS seminar, untitled "Eclectic Genealogical Sleuthing", will be Saturday, May 3, 2003, in the Dwight Beeson Business Building on the campus of Samford University, 800 Lakeshore Drive, Birmingham, Alabama. The hours are 8:30 am until 4:00 pm. Mr. Witcher's topics will be: "Fingerprinting Our Families: Using Ancestral Origins as a Genealogical Research Key" "Using Government Documents for Genealogical Research" "An Ancestor's Death - A Time for Reaping" "Pain in the Access: Getting More from the Internet for Your Genealogy" For additional information, please contact Jyl Hardy at jylhardy@bellsouth.net.
