Hello, Working the lines of John Baggs/Boggs who appears in the 1860 Bibb Co. Census, Randolph P. O., living in the home of S. K. Williams. It appears John was married to Sarah, probably S. K. Williams' daughter, with children Mary, Georgianna, Martha, Josephine, and Mariah. I find him again in the 1870 Baker Co., AL census (I understand Baker became Chilton?) with a second wife, Martha, stepchildren Frank and Washington Fowler, and daughter Martha, son George. In 1880 he has made it to Winn Parish, LA, with wife Maria, stepsons Frank and Wash, daughters Lillian, Stacia, Docia, Bettie, and son John. Apparently he lost a couple of wives and several children along the way. Within some time the S. K. Williams family makes it to Winn Parish, LA as well. Is anyone else working this particular line? Is there anyone who can look up marriages in Bibb or Baker/Chilton Co. to see if there exists any marriage records of John Baggs/Boggs and any Williams, Fowler, et al? Thank you. Gregg Davies Winn Parish, LA
