List members, My Great Grandmother, Rebecca Webb Nix, died about 1911 in Chilton County. My Great Grandfather, Joseph (Joe) Peter Nix, remarried a couple of years later to Catherine Blankenship. He and Catherine had three children: Bessie M. Nix, born about 1915 Jannie F. Nix, born about 1918 Bertha S. Nix, born about 1921 My grandfather and his father were not very close so he had no dealings with his half-sisters. I only discovered their existence through the Census data. What I'm hoping is that one or more of these three women might still be alive. If so, I would love to be able to talk to them about my Great Grandfather. If any of you know anything about these women, I would certainly appreciate it if you would share the information with me.
