I am looking for any information concerning Charles and Nancy Williams who were in the Chestnut Creek area. I have the following information: 1850 Census Autauga Co., AL, Kingston Beat 874 WILLIAMS, CHARLES 56 M METH.E.CLERGYMN 0 SC 61A 874 WILLIAMS, NANCEY 41 F 0 SC 61A 874 WILLIAMS, ROBERT L. 19 M LABORER 0 SC 61A * 874 WILLIAMS, THOMAS M. 13 M 0 SC 61A 874 WILLIAMS, MARY W.P. 10 F 0 AL 61A 874 WILLIAMS, CHARLES F. 4 M 0 AL 61A * I believe that the initial M. is wrong...it may have been a U. instead. Thomas' name was Thomas Hugh G. Williams. The census taker may have misunderstood and wrote a U. for Hugh. 1860 Census, Autagua Co., AL Chestnut Creek Beat 158 WILLIAMS, CHARLES 64 M W FARMER 250 SC 24 158 WILLIAMS, NANCY 52 F W 0 SC 24 158 WILLIAMS, THOMAS 23 M W FARMER 0 SC 24 158 WILLIAMS, MARY 19 F W 0 AL 24 158 WILLIAMS, CHARLES 13 M W 0 AL 24 1870 Census, Baker Co., AL Williams, Charles AL BAKER CO. Church records for Kingston Beat? Was Kingston Beat originally part of Chestnut Creek Beat? Could this family always have lived in the same area...only the beats changed. I would appreciate any information for this family. Thanks, Liz
