The Autauga Genealogical Society will not meet at our regularly scheduled time in March. Instead, members have planned a field trip to the Family History Library at Wallace State College in Hanceville, Alabama, on March 18-19. The library is open on Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. It is now open every Saturday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Some members are driving to Hanceville on Friday morning and spending the night, others are going on Saturday. If you are interested in car pooling contact a board member or myself *before Tuesday, March 15*. I will forward your query to a designated person. There are two motels within 2 blocks of the college: Hanceville Inn & Suites, 256-352-0000 Comfort Inn, 256-352-0151. Discounts are available to library patrons. Caroline Horton
