William Conquest (Bucky) Wyatt, b. 1796 in SC, lived near Chestnut Creek Baptist Church in Coopers, where he and his wife Mariam Wright are buried. They raised a large family there. I have determined that they were probably the sons of an Elijah S. Wyatt, a Baptist preacher who started a church in Pike Co, AL in 1830. They were supposed to have been from SC. Evidently, they moved to Jasper Co, GA prior to the move to Al because Bucky and Mariam were married in Jasper Co, Ga on Nov 19, 1815. Any help on this family would be appreciated.
