    3. I dont know if this is any help to you or maybe you have seen it already? On Find A Grave there is a Bethel Cemetery in Chilton County, and there is a W.D. Salter and Florence Salter listed as buried there. They also have a New Bethel Cemetery listed but there are no memorials listed for it. There are also these Smiths listed, Donnie Mae, Eunice Elois, Olsie Mae,Soloman Arthur, William Denson. There are 2 Popwells listed, Decie Culver Popwell and Dutchie T. Popwell. Hope this helps you some.....I did not locate a memorial for Viola Salter Smith. Just so you know the sign on the page for Bethel says Bethel Primitive Baptist Church. The map shows it to the West of I-65, across the interstate from Cooper, AL. Here is the link if youd care to check it out    http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&GSln=pop&GSiman=1&GScid=21552&CRid=21552&pt=Bethel%20Cemetery&   Julia --- On Sat, 7/23/11, gc-gateway@rootsweb.com <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com> wrote: From: gc-gateway@rootsweb.com <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com> Subject: Re: [ALCHILTO] Lafayette Salter -- Cooper, AL (Chilton County) To: ALCHILTO-L@rootsweb.com Date: Saturday, July 23, 2011, 8:24 PM This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. 3. Here's a page with a couple of pictures of our day today. We only had 4 volunteers today but they knocked it. The rain held off but it was so overcast we decided to come back next weekend and see if we could catch the sun right on them. While we were there, a lady arrived and started decorating the Church for a wedding that took place tonight. There's a picture of our volunteers and a picture of the inside of the Isabella Church at the CCA site at: http://chiltoncemeteries.org/modules.php?name=News <http://chiltoncemeteries.org/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=85> &file=article&sid=85 Kat
