    1. Re: Cecil Little's Book on Chilton Co.Will do lookups
    2. Can I take you up on your request? I am looking for anything on a Jacob Kelley/Kelly who died either 1901 or 1902. He was living with his son in Coosa Co. in the 1900 census, but his son Joseph Kelly moved to Chilton Co. 1901. I am not sure if Jacob went with him or not. Thanks Ann Corum

    3. Lynda, I'm looking for info on my g-g grandfather James Lewis Dupree and his wife Augusta Dupree. Specifically, when/where they died and are buried. Also, my great grandfather William Henry Dupree married Charlotte Baker, daughter of Alfred Baker and Rebecca Mims Baker. Rev. Cecil Little showed me her unmarked grave at Walnut Creek Methodist Church, and I would like to find her exact birth date, so that I can properly mark her grave. Thanks for your help.....Bobby Dupree At 08:27 AM 02/19/1999 -0800, you wrote: >I have the book Chilton Co. 3. Gladys, Robert and James Adkinson are listed, along with my g-g grandfather James Lewis Dupree, on the official records of the Amand Masonic Lodge #250 in Barbourville (later Chestnut Creek) in 1862. A. Keener is listed as treasurer on the Nov. 1863 records of same lodge. These records can be found at the Grand Lodge in Montgomery, AL......Bobby Dupree At 10:21 AM 02/19/1999 EST, you wrote: >Hi, I am looking for two people who lived in CHILTON CO. 3. Hi Lynda, Thank you so much for the look-up offer. I would appreciate it very much if you could look up some obituaries for me. I need one for Thomas H. Williams. It may be under the name Hugh Williams. Thomas H. died on 16 July 1904 in Chilton Co. He was the first sheriff of (Baker) Chilton County. I also need one for his son, Ocie G. Williams. Ocie died 12 April 1908. I need this data for DAR documentation, so I would appreciate it very much if you could please include the page number, title of the book, author's name, and the publishing Company. Thank you for your time. It is excellent and has the national archives military records, etc. on microfilm. The Alabama Dept. of Archives and History is about 50 miles south of Clanton and has records for all of Alabama. I have not done any research in Elmore Co. so cannot help you there. Please remember that until 1866 and 1868 respectively, large parts of Elmore and Chilton County were then part of Autauga County. Any records before those dates would be found in Autauga Co. Courthouse. We have a good genealogy room at the Autauga County Heritage Museum in Prattville. Also, be sure to check our Autauga County genweb site <http://www.rootsweb.com/~alautaug/> which has many online databases, including census, cemeteries, marriages, and probate records, that might help you prepare. 3. Linda, I am happy you have found your family's resting place. I found my Julia Mallory's grave site just a year and a half ago. It was in a small family plot that was all grown over and hidden in the trees and brush. It was just outside Billingsley just over in Chilton Co. My husband and I cleaned, reset stones and put a small fence around the plot. There was no road to it. An old gentleman from Montgomery, Mr. Mills, remembered it from his childhood. He walked the pasture for hours until he got oriented and found it. We, fearing his health, had asked him to give up. But he would not. I am grateful to him, as you are to Frank.
