He was married to Cynthia Malinda(Kinney)Hawkins. Malinda died Aug 9,1927.Buried in Lawrence Cemetary. Charlie then married Addie (Pirce) Hawkins about 1930/1. Addie had a son by the name Hoyt Pirce. Charlie died March 4,1941. He was buried at Cedar Bluff Methodist Cemetary. Charlie's father was William (Bill) Hawkins. His mother was Mary(Jackson)Hawkins. I am looking for someone that might have information about Charlie and Malinda (his first wife) raising a small baby girl named Mary Moon. They raised from starting about 1908/09. After her mother died. She was listed in the 1910 census of Cedar Bluff as adopted daughter. But she was never adopted. Don't know if she went by Hawkins or Moon growing up. Mary married about 1920/21 at a early age of 12 or 13. This girl was my grandmother. She was the daughter of Joseph H.Moon. Wife was known as Eliza but I can't find a death for a Eliza Moon. If anyone reading this query might remember hearing anything about these people. OR if any kin folk would please email me direct. please contact me at lindsaybnc@bellsouth.net Thanks Carolyn Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
