He married my grandmother Sibyllia Sowell in Escambia, FL in 1939. My surname is Sloane so at sometime there was an 'e' added. I only just discovered this today. I discovered the marriage entries through ancestry.com without an 'e' on the end. They mis-transcribed his first name as Jock.
