T. Clark was actually the son of Milton Grady Tallent, that his surname was originally Tallent, but he later used the surname Clark, his mother's maiden name. J. T. Clark can be found in the 1920 census listed as J. T. Tallent, age 5, living in the household of John A. Tallent, and listed as "grandson".
