They have a daughter Jennie Lou (Pruitt) Stirling June 6, 1897-October 31, 1979 buried at Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. It is on the edge of Etowah County & Cherokee County, Alabama. Her obituary appeared in the October 31, 1979 edition of The Gadasden Times and said: Mrs. Stirling Mrs. Jennie Lou Stirling, 82, Collinsville, Rt 2, died Thursday in a local hospital. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 am at Black Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Beshears officiating. Burial in Black Creek Cemetery. Survivors; daughters, Mrs. W. W. Adams, Collinsville, Rt 2, Mrs. Henry Engle, Frederick, Colo.; son, Cameron B. Stirling, Rainbow City; brother, William (Bill) Pruitt, Clanton; sisters, Miss Frances Pruitt, Montgomery, Mrs. Maybell Hughes, Shreveport, La., sons-in-law, W. W. Adams, Collinsville, H. W. Engle, Frederick, Colo.; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Faye Stirling, Rainbow City; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grand children; five step grandchildren. Active pallbearers; Allen Frazier, Chip McDaniel, Kenneth and Curtis Samples, Bobby Gipson, Mike Clements, Mrs. Stirling was a native of Cherokee County, a former resident of Bullock County and a resident of Etowah County most of her life. she was the wife of the late R. B. Stirling. Mrs. Stirling wa! s a member of Black Creek Baptist Church. The body will remain at Collier Butler Funeral Home and lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. The obit says she was in Bullock County, Alabama maybe that is where her parents are at. I am researching all Pruitt's & so far I have no parents for Albert Allen Pruitt. Will keep looking.
