However, as luck would have it, the Library was closed that day so no resource for searching. I did however, along with my GPS and good navigator (wife), locate the cemetery where both my GGgrand parents are buried. It is about 20 miles from Centre and is listed as Gaylesville. However, my records show Broomtown to be the location. So which is correct? The location is Mount Bethel Free Will Baptist church near where county road 41 and 99 intersect. My ancestors lived there from around 1850 until their deaths in 1870 and 1882. My GGgrandfather served in the 19th Alabama Infantry CSA and was a member of the Masonic bodies. If anyone can find any additional information on Edmund Green Bradley or Athalia Cobb Bradley, I would be excited to hear from you.
