I do not know if this W. E. Thompson is the son of Jane. Jane is my great grandfather's sister and I also have his will. Little is known about this side of the family, but I did find a census record that stated that W. E. was a teacher. I saw a picture of the Cherokee webpage that stated in 1921/22 Prof. Thompson was a teacher at the Cedar Bluff High School as was a Mrs. Thompson.
