Sorry I don't know your Davis family. But you might try Searcy Co. Ark--the County not the Town. Several families from Cherokee Co Ala went to Searcy Co. after abt 1860. There are some Davis familes in Searcy Co but have no idea if they connect to yours. I do not research Davis. Just a thought. Kathy
