Seeking information on the family of John F. and Louisa A. (CUNNINGHAM) HOGE and their descendants. They were known to have been living in the Ballplay area of Cherokee Co. in the ca. 1890 to 1920 time frame. During this same period, John F. HOGE appears to have served as a justice-of-the-peace for both Cherokee and DeKalb County, AL as his name appears on county documents for both counties with such a title. He approved county documents such as deeds and other related documents as the approving official. The couple were married in DeKalb Co., AL on 17 March 1865. Louisa HOGE apparently died ca. 1905 while John F. HOGE died at sometime later. The family consisted of the following: John F. Hoge Abt. 1841 - +Louisa A.
