Does anyone have access to the AL 1880 census. I'm trying to find a Silas Morgan who should have been in Cherokee Co. at that time. The genealogy library here in Marietta does not have the 1880 AL census. Could someone check for me? I think my husband is descended on his father's side from Silas & Nancy Morgan. Silas moved to Cherokee Co. (the Dixon community?) during the 1870s. His brothers Moses & Charlie also settled there while the rest of the family settled in DeKalb. One of these Morgans had a daughter named or nicknamed Della born around 1880. She probably wouldn't show up in the census though since she might have been born in June of that year. However by the next census in 1900 she was married to a Brooks. I don't know how I'm going to find out which Morgan Della belonged to. Any ideas? Gwen Brooks Marietta, GA
