    3. Mark; The Mortality Schedules were for Cherokee Co, AL only. I am sure they are available for other counties (states also), its just a matter of knowing where to look. I bought the Cherokee Co book at the Anniston-Calhoun Co Library 2 or 3 years ago as I was passing through. I think that it was compiled and published by one of the local Genealogical or Historical Societies. However, if I am in error on this - DON'T SHOOT! Does anyone know if these would be the : mortality schedules for the entire state, or do individual counties have : mortality schedules? If so, I didn't know this. The reason I ask is that : I'm researching a great grandfather who died in a mining accident there : between 1895 and 1900, and the availability of a 1900 schedule would be : invaluable to me. As it is, I can find nothing whatsoever about his death : anywhere. : Sincerely, : --Mark in Mobile :
