Dear Listers I notice that in Jerry's response to JaNelle he mentions the Mortality Schedules for 1860, 70, and 80. Does anyone know if these would be the mortality schedules for the entire state, or do individual counties have mortality schedules? If so, I didn't know this. The reason I ask is that I'm researching a great grandfather who died in a mining accident there between 1895 and 1900, and the availability of a 1900 schedule would be invaluable to me. As it is, I can find nothing whatsoever about his death anywhere. Sincerely, --Mark in Mobile
