Can any one tell me some of the Decoration Days in Cherokee Co, AL? I know that at Old Providence Cemetery at Forney it is the Saturday before the 1st Sunday in May. (This year May 6) 2nd Sunday in May is at Bethel Cemetery at Forney. Sometimes called Forney Cemetery. (This year May 14) Some Churches now call it Homecoming, but my parents grew up calling it Decoration Day. Thanks for your help. Doris Estes Robbins
