When I have a question like this, I tend to turn to the US Geographic Survey's name server at http://mapping.usgs.gov/www/gnis/gnisform.html Using a search for feature name "Philadelphia", state "Alabama", and feature type of "cemetery", I found there were 6 "Philadelphia" cemeteries - in Fayette, Lee, Marion, Monroe, Montgomery, and Tuscaloosa counties. Since none of these were in Cherokee County, I then searched for Spring Garden as a "populated place" in Cherokee County. The USGS indicates that Spring Garden is located at latitude 33.58.22N and longitude 85.33.14W and is on the "Piedmont" map. Next I run a search for all cemeteries on the Piedmont map. Eliminating those not in Cherokee County, I come up with this: Carmel Cemetery, 33.57.35, 85.34.31 Farmer Cemetery, 33.58.18, 85.35.37 Goshen Cemetery, 33.57.44, 85.37.02 Pleasant Gap Cemetery, 33.59.30, 85.31.18 Now, if I run one final search for all churches on the Piedmont map and eliminate those not in Cherokee County, I wind up with this: Carmel Church, 33.57.36, 85.34.35 Faith Church, 33.57.45, 85.33.25 Goshen Church, 33.58.32, 85.37.01 Goshen Valley Church, 33.58.55, 85.37.01 Liberty Church, 33.59.11, 85.32.39 Pleasant Gap Church, 33.58.42, 85.31.26 Spring Garden Methodist, 33.58.31, 85.32.58 So - I still can't answer your question about where your cemetery is located, but I do have some names to work on. However, searching on "Philadelphia" with no feature specified, I did discover that there's a Philadelphia community and Philadelphia Church in Calhoun County at 33.56.29, 85.32.48 - maybe your ancestor is buried in Calhoun County instead of Cherokee?
