Mary Ann had two brothers also in Cherokee County Thomas Tennison DOB 1817 and Matthew Tennison DOB 1820 both Buncombe Co. NC 1850 census had Matthew Tennison listed as head of household age 30 born NC Mary F age 22 born SC and John H. Turner age 23 born SC. Looks like the brother of Mary.
