Looking for my Great Grandmother's family. I believe that she could be the Lydia Stewart I found on the internet in Cherokeee County, Alabama 1850 census. Hoping this is her. I do not know her husbands name. I know of only one daughter Lydia had. Nancy Stewart b: abt 1838 or 1840 AL. Nancy married my grandfather Chapley Hampton b 1802 KY. One of their children was my grandfather Wade Hampton b: Nov. 1875 Jackson County, Alabama. I am searching for Nancy Stewart's family. Her mother's name is all I have other than they could be of Indian Blood? I do not have anything else to go on. Any help I'd appreciate. Thanks to anyone that can help me.
