On 5 Oct 1882, Mary Frances (Molly) Golden married James A. Maddux in Cherokee County. They raised a large family, and moved West, to OR and CA, in about 1904. One of their children, John Luther (Jack) Maddux, became a very well known pioneer of commercial aviation. Can anyone help me to identify Molly's parents? They are not named on her death certificate, for which the informant was her daughter Lillian, who was born in Cherokee County in 1892. Molly was born on 28 June 1866, in Al, according to her death cert., but in GA, according to census records. The 1900, 1910, and 1920 census records all agree that her father was born in GA, and her mother in AL. Any help would be greatly appreciated by Rick Sherman, Kensington, CA
