    3. Hello All: With the coming of a new year again I want to repost who I am trying to find more information on. I seek to learn the name of the cemetery where the man known to me as Grand Uncle Hezikiah Allen Cothran is buried. His widow moved away from their home place in Ceder Bluff, AL sometime after his death to Ethowah Co. AL. the home of one of their children: Mary Jane Cothran Meeks wife of William Marion Meeks who for years worked at and ran the Gadsden Times Newspaper there. Uncle Hez was a shop keeper and ran a local Blacksmith Shop in Ceder Bluffs. He and Methela Crouch Cothran had wed in Ceder Bluff, AL on 11/24/1842. Him coming from Greenville Dist. SC and her coming from Washington Co. Tenn where she had been b. abt. 1818. Methela ended up buried in Etowah Co. and him back in Cherokee Co. somewhere. I have the information on her but can't seem to locate him. Now in Cherokee Co. AL. in the town of Centre in what some folks there call the Cothran cemetery I found by way of a cousin: H.H. Cothran but the dates don't match up with the bible and the US Census. He is buried beside a woman named Nannie Cothran? Have no idea who she is. The reason that I bring this up is this: Found in Cherokee Co. AL on the US Census in 1860 is Uncle Hez. only he is by error listed as H.H. ??? Is this him in Centre or is this some other known to some on this list man? Do any of you online claim this H.H. Cothran and Nannie buried in Centre, AL.? Thanks for any help with this. Gail
