Cherokee is not in Cherokee County. The Seahorns mostly lived around Cherokee, though some of them did live in Etowah County at times. Etowah County is adjacent to Cherokee County, so it's possible that your search should include Cherokee County, but more likely that it should be in Cherokee, the town. Please, Please, correct your information on James Marian Clifton, son of George and Nancy Patey Clifton. How someone got Arizonia out of Conway, Arkansas, I'll never know. That is the town and state that he lived and died in after Cherokee co, Ala. He is buried in a cemetery there.
