Unfortunately, there is no index to those records and no copies or microfilm of the records. They are all kept at the state vital statistics/records office. I dont believe they are open to the public. On the other note, I can look in the cemetery books I have for Cherokee Co., AL and Etowah Co., AL for the names you mentioned. I will let you know if I find anything.

    3. Mark, I looked in an old 1989 ZIP code directory, and Rock Run didn't have a post office listed. Spring Garden did, and its ZIP code was or is 36275. 3. Dear List Members, I'm currently filling out the paperwork for a headstone to mark the grave of an ancestor buried in the Salem Primtitive Baptist Church cemetery, which is near the old site of Bluffton, AL, in Cherokee County, just down the dirt road from the little community of Tecumseh, which is just on the other side of the GA/AL state line. The paperwork requires an address for the cemetery. Would anyone happen to know or be able to look up the street address (including zip) of this Salem Baptist Church? Many thanks!
