    3. There isn't much, Mary Jane Culbertson was born August 11, 1840 in North Carolina. Daughter of Bird Culbertson and Mary Ann Garrett. She died in Langdale, Alabama on August 1, 1907. Married to James M. Foster shortly before the Civil War began. James was killed in the battle of Atlanta in 1864. Both of her children died from starvation and the lack of medicine. She married Captain James Miles Killian Guinn. no date given. Mary Jane and Captain Guinn had nine children. They lived in Langdale Alabama for many years. As I said, not a lot. Hope this helps. > That would be great. The name Ginn has been spelled so many ways that it's > very possible these people are part of the family.
