    2. azbil3, Mother's friend, Betty Janell Knight Boone, is the daughter of William (Will A. Knight). Her mother's name was Kate Funderburk Knight. Doc Franklin Knight is really Adolphus Franklin Knight, and Betty's brother. There is a sister, Agnes Knight Boyington ????forgot second hubby's last name, and another named Rudene Knight ????. Betty is still living, but in poor health. Her four sons live around Birmingham, AL. Is this possibly the family you're researching? 1. [ALCHAMBE-L] Marriage Book (Mullinax, Boler, McDowell) #2
    2. Franklin Ingram
    3. Deliah, Although Thomas McDowell was Thomas in most records that I have found, his Civil War Pension was in the name of John Thomas McDowell. I have found a few records (including his Civil War records) in the name of John, J. T. or John Thomas McDowell for him. So any McDowell groom's marriage by any of these given names will be appreciated, especially to a Mullinax or to a Boler or Bowler bride. Thanks again. 1. [ALCHAMBE-L] Marriage Book (Mullinax, Boler, McDowell)
    2. Franklin Ingram
    3. Delilah, I have been researching my mother's paternal ancestors for a couple of years now. I have made good progress and your marriage book may help me with better source documentation. It would really help if you can find the following two marriages in your book. A Mary Ann Mullinax (various spellings are common), married a J. Boler (various spellings are possible, such as Bowler) in Chambers Co AL. Mary Ann's husband died rather quickly, and she (Mary Ann Mullinax Boler) then married a Thomas McDowell (various spellings are common) in Chambers Co AL. These marriages were during the years covered by your book. I hope that both marriages are included. If they are, any help will be appreciated on getting all relevant information on these marriages and any witnesses. Thank you so much for your attempt to find these marriages for me.
