Looking for family of Sarah McDanal, McDanil, McDaniel, McDonald. She is shown in 1850 census. Believe her husband was William. This family had many spellings. Thanks, Wayne McDonald
Delilah, I don't want to be a pest, but does it give information on these people, or just list their names? Delilah, Thanks these would be some of mine. I'm surprised, they didn't list any Carden's at Antioch, as my GGrandparents are buried there. The Sarah Princella Burdette, would be my GGrandmother's sister, who married my GGrandmother Beaird's brother! LOL Double cousins there! Hi Becky; Would like to know your Connection to The Burdette's. I have done lots of work on the SC and Ga Burdette's. Some has moved to Ala. Contact me at padoug@verizon.net Thanks Doug. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Becky" <rec@hiwaay.net> To: <ALCHAMBE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, February 21, 2005 3:12 PM Subject: [ALCHAMBE-L] RE: Book >I appreciate knowing if there are any Carden's, Beaird's, Woodalls or >Burdette's mentioned in this book. > > Thank you, Becky Carden > > > ==== ALCHAMBE Mailing List ==== > Who is your MOST WANTED? > Visit the USGenWeb Archives for Alabama > http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/al/alfiles.htm > >
Hi Doug, Well, my Burdettes did come from S.C. Here is how I descend, and hope you have some more info on them. The oldest one, that I am sure of is: Samuel Littleberry Burdette. He was married several times, the first time to a Sarah Coursey, but she died, and I don't know who his wife was after that. Then it goes to: William L. Burdette, who was married to Nancy Lane: Then it goes to: Simeon Burdette, who was married to Sarah Precilla Woodall Then next was: Simonette Burdette, who was married to Calton H. Gross Then my Grandmother, Sarah Felicia Gross, who married Escar Lincoln Carden My Parents: Frank Owen Carden, and Frances Stephens Carden I don't know where in S.C. they were located, but they all ended up in Chambers Co. Al. Samuel Littleberry Burdette, may have been the son of a Humphrey Burdette, but not real sure. Do you have any info on any of these, and are you connected to the Burdette's?
