    2. bobby christall
    3. My Harris family: James Harris 1795-1869 & wife, Lucretia Jones 1796-1878 lived at Chambers County, Alabama in the 1830's and 1840's. They had three daughters to marry there. Sarah Jane Harris married Dec 1, 1842 to Thomas Gaines Black; Priscilla Augusta Harris married there to John Black; and Margaret Smith Harris married June 3, 1840 to Perryman Black. JAMES HARRIS was a Presbyterian elder and pastor. I would think that if any church records were saved, that his children and family would be listed. Does anyone know if there are any old Presbyterian Church records at Chambers County? Thank you, Bobby Christall

BUT on her daughter's death certificate, my grandmother said her mother's mother (Penelope) was a Brown so I suspect she was married to a Stevens first. I do appreciate your looking.
