My GGGgrndfthr was William J. Wallace b. 1833 who married Nancy Tabitha Brown in Benton Co.ALA. 1854 They had Will,Tom, Ike,Joe& Sarah. In 1895 Sarah got pregnant by a trvelling salesman and the brothers tried to kill the guy , but he lived. So in 1895, the four brothers and their families, 22 in all rode a wagon train to Texas to escape the law. I am trying to find William j.'s parents I know that there is alot of my direct family related to these peoples still in and around Floyd Co, Rome GO. and Calhoun, ALA. and alot have heard about a group of Wallace's who left for texas.(according to messege boards) Can any one help? John Wallace m. tempey taylor had a William J. Wallace and was in Benton Co. in 1855 with his family according to misc.records, Could this be his father and mother? who came to attend the wedding?
