Could someone please advise me where to look for tax records in Calhoun,Anniston,AL? Has anyone done any research at the courthouse there? I wonder if you get an open door or if they prefer you not come around? You know every one is different. I will list what I will be looking for and maybe some of you can help me out on where to go looking. Deeds, wills, tax records, school enrollments,obits,marriage records, divorce records,old newspapers,etc. Does anyone know what type of info the library can give to me? I need all the help I can get. I will be there all of next week,I don't want to waste any time running all over town. I have sat down and made out my lists of who & what I am looking for. Now I just want to be sure to go to the correct place. I also would like to know if anyone knows anything about the hotels there. I don't want to stay in one & my car come up missing. Is there an area of town to stay AWAY from? Any good restaurants? Any assistance will be deeply appreciated & accepted!!
