Hello I'm trying to help my husband trace his family. I found Francis Hopkins and his son Starling Hopkins in Benton/Calhoun County in the 1850 and 1860 AL census. Is anyone researching these families? Starling served in the CW and was killed in 1864, Richmond VA. Is there a list of soldiers from Calhoun Co. who served in the Civil War?
