I have a few Martins in my family, but am mostly interested in the McCains of Calhoun/Benton Co, Ala. Namely the father of Thomas J. The J. was for Jefferson or Jonathan. Barbara, I am a descendant of Thomas Pinkney Martin's dau., Samantha. The name Pinkney caught my eye in your query. These Martins came to the Ragland area around 1850 from Forsyth Co., GA. Some of them migrated on down into Talladega Co. near the Lincoln and Ironoton area. Are these the same Martins as yours?
