Looking for any information on Moses McCULLOUGH, dob unk. Place of birth probably Scotland. Was believed to have a farm in Dallas Co. AL, "on the banks of the Alabama River", in 1860...this farm supposedly stayed in the family for many years. I have not found any trace of it. There are Land Patent Records for Moses H. McCullough in Shelby Co. AL, but none for Dallas Co. There is note of a marriage of Moses H. McCullough to Malicia MARTIN, on 8 April 1856 in Shelby Co. AL. Moses H. McCullough had three sons: F. Moses, James, and Charlie. F. Moses was said to have been born in Scotland. I don't know the place of birth of James or Charlie. I have not found Moses McCullough on any online Ships Passenger Lists. Also seeking information on Frank McCullers, b. 1890, Calhoun Co. AL Died 1954. Was married to Ruby Alma Byrd also of Calhoun Co. AL.
