Your folks are in a similar migration pattern to mine. They came to Benton/Calhoun Co., AL from Franklin Co., TN and moved to Cherokee Co., TX in time to be on the 1850 census there. Perhaps someone on the TXCherok-L@rootsweb.com list might recognize the names. I don't at this time. I will see if I see anything when I get time.
